The Hawkeye Campus is 647 acres and provides the University and community with unique and large natural areas in a combination of wetlands, Clear Creek woodlands and open recreation space.
This area is master planned for uses related to recreation and athletics functions and includes student family housing and a large commuter parking lot. The planning is intended to protect the park-like character of the setting and this treasured natural resource.
