North ADA access to Hydraulics Model Annex building will not be impacted. Southeast ADA access to Hydraulics Model Annex should be available but pedestrians should plan to come from the South end of the alley.
Alternate route
Access from the South to the open portion of the alley will be from West Harrison St.
Reason and details for closure

Location: 3/24/2024 UPDATE: Alley South of CRWC that connects West Court St. to West Harrison St. The closed portion will be from the North end of the Landscape Services yard up to West Court St.

MidAmerican will be doing power line relocation work in the alley for necessary revisions ahead of the building demolition.

MidAmerican work will involve new borings to move overhead wiring underground in the North portion of the alley.  Actual work on site is expected to last 1-2 weeks. Mobilization is now planned for late the week of 3/25/2024. The work also includes a new transformer to be placed between of Hydraulics Model Annex and Hydraulics East Annex. There will be an electrical outage to Butler Storage Court Street, Hydraulic Model Annex, Hydraulics Wind Tunnel Annex and Hydraulics East Annex buildings that will be issued when they date is verified.  It is anticipated that pedestrian and ADA access will be available to all buildings in the area during the work. However the area should be avoided if possible.
