On January 1, 2008, Campus & Facilities Planning and Design & Construction Services merged to create Planning, Design & Construction.
This new unit within Facilities Management is responsible for the complete range of services related to the physical development of the UI campus (with the exception of UIHC-specific space).
From long-range campus master planning, to management of projects of every size and type, to detailed data management of more than 16 million square feet of campus space, PD&C serves the University by planning for the future while preserving the past.
