EXPERIENCE DOWNTOWN IOWA CITY and CORALVILLE!

The MAPPA 2009 Educational Conference and Annual Meeting will be hosted by The University of Iowa and located in the Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Coralville, Iowa. Iowa City and Coralville are located within a mile of each other. The hotel is just a short drive or bus ride to downtown Iowa City and the University of Iowa campus. Many cultural offerings, dining and entertainment options exist in both Iowa City and Coralville.

The Old Capitol District and downtown Iowa City offer a treasure trove of discovery. Stroll leisurely through the tree-lined pedestrian plaza, take a break and enjoy the Weatherdance Fountain, sip a latte
from an outdoor vendor, or watch a street performer.

The University of Iowa Campus, intertwined with downtown Iowa City, offers a walking tour along the river, several museums and other attractions within short walking distance.
