The MAPPA 2009 Annual Educational Conference at Iowa City will bring together approximately 250 attendees associated with facilities leaders in higher education from throughout the upper tier of Midwest states, primarily Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan. Last year over 60 companies exhibited their products, technologies and services.

The attendees include vice presidents, directors and managers of facilities, physical infrastructure, hospitals, housing and auxiliary services, planning, design, and construction, operations and maintenance, utilities, parking and transportation, and landscaping. These are the key decision makers for any facility-related initiatives at research institutions, including many Big Ten and Big Twelve schools, and large and small colleges and universities. This event will also be open to K-12 educational institutions.

The annual educational conference features formal presentations on timely initiatives, strategic directions, growth and innovation. This year, the trade show and exhibits are being further integrated into the educational conference with conveniently collocated space in the Marriott Convention Center.
