Facilities Management Design and Construction Services Receives Recreation Paving Award...the Asphalt Paving Association of Iowa awarded Design and Construction Services for its work on the outdoor tennis courts at the new West Campus Tennis-Recreation Center. Larry Bielicke, engineer, and Bill Minor, engineering technician, were recognized for quality workmanship in overseeing the project. The project was nominated for the award by by L.L. Pelling Contractors, Iowa City.

Dan Heater Joins Facilities Management as Director of Operations and Maintenance...Dan Heater joined University of Iowa Facilities Management Monday, April 17, 2006 as director of Operations and Maintenance. Dan will provide leadership for custodial and maintenance services for approximately seven million gross square feet of main campus and the Oakdale Research Campus.
