Which buildings are impacted by curtailment?
(There are three building groups identified below. If your building is not listed, please check with your department head to see whether there is a curtailment protocol for your area. )
A variety of curtailment strategies have been identified for the following General Fund buildings. These strategies could include some of the following building in part or whole: air conditioning systems temperatures increased, A/C systems cycling on/off or turned off for the duration of the curtailment, ventilation systems turned off, and/or non-essential lighting turned off.

The following buildings are asked to voluntarily raise thermostat settings and turn off non-essential lighting, but A/C equipment is not included in the curtailment because of the size/condition of the equipment or because of the type of occupancy that is served by the A/C equipment.

Speech and Hearing Center - Westlawn
The UI Power Plant does not provide power to the following buildings. These buildings will therefore not be included in the curtailment. Any voluntary conservation measures, however, will benefit the UI in reduced energy costs.
