Administration

The Administration unit of Facilities Management oversees organizational planning and strategic initiatives, and provides support to all units within Facilities Management.

 

Building and Landscape Services

Building & Landscape Services is dedicated to campus building and landscape physical asset stewardship and customer service as needed and on request.

 

Business and Financial Services

Business & Financial Services is responsible for administrative support of all units of Facilities Management with specific responsibilities for budgeting, accounting, human resources, information technology, and maintenance stores.

 

Design and Construction

Design & Construction leads a comprehensive and cooperative approach to design and construction excellence in creating a campus that is consistent with the University of Iowa’s status as one of the nation’s leading academic/research institutions.

 

UI Utilities

UI Utilities operates and maintains a central Power Plant, Water Plant, and three Chilled Water Plants on the Main Campus and satellite facilities at the UI Research Park (Oakdale Campus). The plants provide steam, water, high-quality water, chilled water, electricity and sewer to the entire campus, including The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
