stone motorcycles, consists of four stone sculptures each cut from Indiana limestone slabs. Each of these four limestone objects references more than one thing. Together these asymmetrically placed stone objects always seen together entangle one another offering multiple visual narratives and rather than conveying us to some distant place are meant to anchor us to the site. In this sense, narrative subjectivity is a property of the gathering of these sculptural objects. Each stone object absorbs the qualities of the others increasing the intensity of our connections to the world of things. This searching and discovering of similarities offers us a way to relate to the animate and inanimate.
