Jim Shrosbree creates wall-based sculpture, utilizing many different materials, shadows, and reflections, which result in a body of unique and powerful work.

Shrosbree says about the artwork: "The high wall and abundance of daylight in the space inspired the sculpture. These conditions create a fertile situation for the play of the form on the wall. Backlighting promotes the relationship of the space between the wall and the curved form of the sculpture, to create perceptual changes that stem from the interaction of light, shadow and reflection."
