The University of Iowa’s newly built Nonfiction Writing House opened last month on what has been dubbed the “writer’s row” along Clinton Street, providing the program its own building for the first time. The university held a dedication and open house on Sept. 22 for the 4,858-square-foot building, which was constructed in less than two years after decades of efforts to give the program a home.
