College of Pharmacy Building
Completed 2019
The newly constructed 228,371 square-foot Pharmacy Building reached substantial completion on December 3, 2019 and opened for classes in spring 2020. The new building features cutting-edge research laboratories, collaborative learning spaces, and a UI Pharmaceuticals (UIP) sterile-product manufacturing unit. The building incorporates a variety of strategies to promote universal design, a concept that recognizes and attempts to accommodate the broadest possible spectrum of human ability. The new facility will allow students to gain hands-on experience in the field in a simulated environment that mirrors real-life scenarios.
